The Report of the Turin Scientific Commission, produced the first public information on the pollen findings of Max Frei, who claimed that the Shroud's dust collected in 1973, included pollens from plants that are exclusive to Israel and to Turkey. This suggests that the Shroud musthave been exposed to the air in these countries.
