First Exhibition of the Shroud Since 1933

The Shroud was exhibited for a five-week-long period to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the Shroud in Turin.

During the five-week period, the Shroud was viewed by more than 3.5 million visitors. Following on the 1976 report on the pollen and the discovery of 3D properties, this promoted significant interest in the Shroud.
